Unicoi
Nestled in the North Georgia mountains, Unicoi State Park & Lodge is centered around Lake Unicoi within the Chattahoochee National Forest. The park map shows hiking trails leading to Ana Ruby Falls and Helen, and the lake is a great place to fish for trout. Visitors can explore an array of outdoor adventures for an additional fee including zip-lining, archery and target shooting, paddle boarding and biking. The park also has boat rentals and paddleboard and kayak lessons. Visitors can even rent a Go Pro, take fly fishing classes or go on a GPS scavenger hunt. During summer months, the lake is open for swimming.
The park hosts many events throughout the year, such as craft festivals, concerts, animal programs and educational hikes. Overnight guests can choose to stay in the hotel-style lodge, fully equipped cottages, or a modern campground with room for tents, trailers and RV campers. There are restaurants on site. The park is a popular place for weddings, group meetings and teambuilding events.
