National Infantry Museum
The National Infantry Museum (NIM) is located right outside of Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia. This museum presents military history in a clear and engaging way through exhibits, authentic artifacts, and interactive displays.

When you first arrive at the museum, you can see the famous “Follow Me” statue before entering the building. The statue, created by Private First Class Manfred Bass and Private First Class Karl H. Van Krog in 1959, is a symbol of leading by example, a strong pillar of the United States Infantry values.
