The Columbus Museum

Whether you love fine art or are curious about Georgia’s past, the Columbus Museum offers something for everyone. The exhibitions include paintings, sculptures, and historic artifacts that reflect life in the Chattahoochee Valley area. It is a must-visit for anyone exploring Columbus, GA.

Near the entrance, there is a “Design Your Visit” station. This is a quick, interactive way to help you plan what to see first based on your interests, so you get the most out of your visit. The museum also features a children’s play area with hands-on activities and climbing spaces that let kids explore art and history in a creative way.

In the historical wing of the museum, you will find “Chattahoochee Rhythms”. Divided into the three sections of growth, innovation, and perseverance, rather than chronologically, the exhibits are designed to help visitors understand how the area evolved and why its history remains significant today.
