Reed Bingham

Reed Bingham State Park, located just a few miles off I-75 in South Georgia, is buzzing with outdoor recreation and abundant wildlife.

Reed Bingham Lake

The 375-acre lake is popular with boaters and anglers.

Kayak Rental

Guests can rent boats, canoes and kayaks.

There are also guided pontoon boat tours. The beachside pavilion, picnic shelters and group shelters are scenic spots for parties, reunions and other celebrations.

Swimmers can enjoy the lake’s sand beach during warmer months. Hikers, cyclists and walkers can explore seven miles of trails. Visitors often spot animals moving about the park, including nesting bald eagles in the winter! Children will enjoy the playground and mini golf course. Overnight guests can stay at the park’s campground, which has room for tents, trailers and RVs.

ACCESSIBILITY NOTES:

A wider-wheeled wheelchair is available to be reserved for use at the swimming beach. Access to the beach area appears to be limited due to concrete surrounding the area and steep grades. To the far left of the loose sand beach there is an opening to a fairly steep, grassy entrance to the beach area.
